What is it?
Naloxone(Narcan) is a potentially lifesaving medication designed to help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose in minutes. Since most opioid overdoses occur in the home and are most often witnessed, having Naloxone nearby can save a life.

How to use it?
Naloxone can be given in three ways. One way is intramuscular, in which the drug is injected into the muscle. Another way is intranasal, in which the drug is sprayed into the nose. The third is intravenously.

We prefer Narcan Nasal Spray as it is the easiest way for an inexperienced person to administer the drug. 
You simply lay the person on their back
tilt their head back
spray the drug into their nose. 
Then place the person on their side, in the recovery position.
